After my shortened story ran in the June 2004 issue of Mopar Collector's Guide, all hell broke loose. Several people accused me of making the forged papers and the person that sold them to me insisted that he DID NOT make any of them.

Then, just by chance, Mopar Collector's Guide received an anonymous letter from a guy named "Bob", who claimed to be a previous owner of this car. Here is a copy of the letter he sent and a scan of the *original* broadcast sheet that he included.

I do know for a fact that one previous owner was named Robert, because I have a copy of a registration from the mid '80s with his name on it.

This new information raises a very big question - if Bob figured out that this car wasn't a '70 Daytona, and I figured it out too, why couldn't my friend who sold me the car? The world may never know......

Just when you think you've read it all, MCG puts you on their "Top 10" list. Thanks guys!  :-)
